All our Customcoat 2Pac painted panels are crafted for lasting performance and aesthetic appeal. To suit a variety of project needs and budgets, we offer two finish options: Standard and Premium. Both use our premium satin 2Pac paint and undergo rigorous quality checks before leaving our workshop.
Our Classic Customcoat Finish
Our Classic Customcoat 2Pac painted finish offers a high-end result through a more streamlined and cost-effective production process. It’s the ideal choice for most projects and our most budget-friendly option.
- As standard, our panels are hand spray-coated. Our doors and drawers are neatly masked on the reverse side to ensure a clean backface.
- Cover Panels, Plinths and Filler Panels are painted without masking on the reverse sides. This can result in light overspray in concealed areas (e.g. the back of kickboard plinths or wall-facing cover panels). These sides will not be visible once installed.
Our Classic Customcoat Finish
- Our master hand painters are human and while every effort is made to ensure a perfect finish, from time-to-time some minor surface irregularities may be present on non-visible edges (e.g. the underside of drawer fronts). Such iregularities are not considered defects and are consistent with Australian industry standards for 2Pac finishes.

- Like all Ren Studio panels, our Classic Customcoat 2Pac finishes are quality checked throughout production and undergo a final inspection by our team prior to dispatch.
Our Premium Customcoat Finish
We understand some Ren Studio clients expect absolute perfection from their cabinetry projects. We get it! Our Premium finish is ideal for those seeking the highest level of refinement and attention to detail. Here’s what you need to know about our Premium finish:
- Each panel is precisely masked during painting to prevent overspray, even on reverse sides. This includes Cover Panels, Plinths and Filler Panels. Masking ensures crisp edges and a polished look across all visible and non-visible surfaces.
Our Premium Customcoat Finish
- Due to the labour-intensive nature of this process, Premium panels are priced accordingly.
Quality Checks
- Every Premium panel undergoes vigorous inspection during and post-painting, during cleaning, and again prior to packing to ensure an ultra-smooth finish with minimal to no imperfections.
- Panels with imperfections are prioritised for correction before additional quality checks, cleaning and packaging.
