What is 2Pac?
2Pac is a premium two-part polyurethane paint system that is professionally spray applied to create a smooth, durable finish. Unlike pre-finished board products, 2Pac allows your cabinetry to be painted in virtually any colour.
Can I choose any colour?
Yes. Customcoat can be colour matched to thousands of colours from leading paint brands including Dulux, Porter's Paints and Resene. If you have a particular colour in mind, let us know and we can confirm its suitability.
What sheen should I choose?
Our most popular finish is Satin, which has a subtle sheen and works beautifully across most cabinetry. Matte provides a softer, low-sheen appearance, while Semi-Gloss and Gloss offer progressively more shine and reflectivity.
Is Customcoat durable?
Yes. Customcoat is professionally finished in 2Pac polyurethane, creating a durable surface designed for everyday cabinetry. As with any painted finish, care should still be taken to avoid impacts, scratching, excessive moisture and harsh cleaning products.
Can Natural Veneer be grain matched?
Yes. We offer grain matching as an optional service, allowing the grain to flow across adjoining doors and drawer fronts for a more considered, continuous appearance.
What's the difference between Customcoat and Impression?
Both are painted finishes with extensive colour choice. Customcoat has a smooth painted surface, while Impression has an American Oak grain impressed into the surface before painting, giving it visible and tactile timber texture.
What profiles are available in Customcoat?
Customcoat offers our widest choice of profiles, including Neat, Linear, Slim Shaker, Fine Shaker, Classic Shaker, Classic Shaker Bevelled, J-Mould Finger Pull and Dot.
